  • Examples:

    • Transportation: Widely used in the transportation industry for manufacturing vehicle panels, body parts, and structural components due to their lightweight properties.

    • Aerospace: Wide coils may be used in aerospace applications, especially for more significant components like aircraft wings and fuselage sections.

    • Marine: Due to its corrosion resistance, it is used in shipbuilding and marine applications for constructing large panels, hull sections, and structural components.

    • Industrial Machinery: Industries that produce large industrial machinery may use wide coils for specific components, such as conveyor systems, machine frames, and enclosures.

APPLICATION FIELDS OF 1060 ALUMINUM COILS IN DIFFERENT THICKNESS
1. Thin Gauge (Less than 0.5 mm):

  • Applications: Thin-gauge 1060 aluminum coils, often called aluminum foils or sheets, are used in applications that require lightweight, flexible, and highly malleable material.

  • Examples:

    • Packaging: Thin aluminum foils are extensively used for packaging various products, including food, pharmaceuticals, and tobacco. They provide an effective barrier against light, moisture, and contaminants.

    • Insulation: In the construction industry, thin aluminum foils are used as reflective insulation materials to control heat transfer and maintain building temperature stability.
